ABOUT
The Artist Child

Who is the artist child?

The artist child is universal.

They are the makers, the dreamers, the doers. The ones who have 100 and then some ways of expressing themselves and navigating their world. They are the creatives and not just in the ways of painting or dancing.

This program is for people who were the artist child, should have been the artist child and want to be the artist child. It's for those who create (perhaps in ways they don't realize).

Thank-you for being here.

What is the work of this course?

The Artist Child is a 4 week process as a collection of classes, prompts and resources that provide opportunities to explore free, soul filling, unhindered creativity.

During this time we consider the ways we have been told to put our art aside to tend to the predetermined okay ways of living and being in the world and how to set boundaries with those notions and do the work anyway.

We learn to hold new lenses to look out of, new perspectives to play with (because play is the greatest work of all) and expand if not break out of entirely the box we have been placed inside.

We are breaking down barriers to expression and reclaiming our Creative Identity.

How does it work?

Enrollment (sign up) provides you with access to the webpages and content described below.

I've delicately created this webpage to serve as a
digital textbook/resource library through the program. There are attached readings, resources and reflective prompts for each week of the program.

The Daily Practice is a series of daily process based art activities or creative resources for our personal practice.

The Workbook is linked on each weekly course page and can be downloaded for printing or typing up your reflections.

Our Discord chat acts as a community space for sharing and connecting.

What you receive:

-Weekly PDF Workbook and Reflective Guide
-Daily Practice artful prompts for reflection and creativity
-Resources for art and art magic
-Community accountability + connection through private Discord group chat

The webpages have been primarily designed for use on a desktop computer or laptop, not all pages can be accessed on a mobile device.

Disclaimers

This program is completely free.
To maintain a space and commitment to accessibility and community. When you enroll in this program you will be prompted to create an account. This allows me to keep track of how many participants have joined the program.

Please feel free to share this program and the resources you enjoy with those around you. All I ask is that you give credit to anything that I personally create (these are the pieces signed by me). Resources I share that are created by other people are always credited and linked so you can explore them further.

This is not a program of techniqu
e, it is a program of play.
